In summary, Best Management Practices combine monitoring, prevention, and control methods including cultural, physical, and biological controls, with chemical pesticides as a last resort.

Practices like exclusion, proper sanitation, education, and record-keeping help minimize environmental impact and reduce pest problems sustainably.

Monitoring is the key to successfully managing pests that invade your home, lawn, and landscape if you want to use less pesticides.

By coming out monthly, we’re able to catch and treat problems before you even notice them leaving you more time do things much more fun than watching the grass grow. 

As a rule, we do our best to minimize the amount of pesticides applied to your property. Because weeds, insects, and fungus rarely effect an entire property all at once, blanket applications are almost never needed unless the property has been severely neglected.

By minimizing pesticide applications, chemical resistance in chinch bugs is minimized and beneficial insects are left unharmed to keep your landscape in natural balance.

Fertilizer on the other hand does need to be made as a blanket treatment to keep your lawn and shrubs looking their best. However, we use slow release products that activate over time to minimize runoff and leaching.

Prior to hiring Epic, my grass was not being taken care of, died, and I spent hundreds of dollars to install new sod and start all over. Since hiring Epic, my grass looks healthy and I don't have to worry about taking care of it. John is knowledgeable and is responsive to any questions or concerns.

Yes it is. We’re a small company without an advertising budget or marketing team and believe the best way to spend our promotional dollars is to make it as easy as possible to try us out. Hopefully you’ll love our service enough to share our name with your neighbors.

 

No. You do not have to sign a contract. Services are provided on a month to month basis until you tell us to stop.

All services are done on a monthly basis. This is what allows us to reduce the amount of chemicals and fertilizers applied to your lawn yet still achieve professional results.

You’ll begin to see your lawn green up in as little as 10 days during Spring and Summer and about 21 days in Winter.

Weeds take a little longer to die but you’ll see a reduction in about 30 days or so with proper mowing and watering.

Every property is a little different so it’s impossible to give you an exact price here so just schedule a free evaluation and we’ll give you our best price.
